Holland & Holland super unique and ergonomic self cocking hammer double ~ Makers Case! Hammerguns 12 gauge |
5126 4117 |
|
What a cool gun. Nitro proofed in London at .722 which it still now measures perfectly in both barrels so untouched since proof. Thin wall where there is little pressure in some pitting in the right barrel 26" from breech so no worries. I can text a video showing how this patent works. We have never seen an example of this system, nor any of our British expert friends, but we have to say it is perhaps the smoothest self cocking hammer gun system we have ever operated. Gun comes with its really cool vintage maker's case with vintage H&H snap caps and oil bottle. Over 1K value alone.

A very attractive Rigby in a very unusual caliber! The bore is very nice and what a history! From Rigby ledger: 10 July 1875 Col. Gildersleeve ??? Double Express .360 (short cartridge) Barrel length - 2ft Henry Alger Gildersleeve From Wikipedia Henry Alger Gildersleeve Born August 1, 1840 Clinton, Dutchess County, New York Died February 27, 1923 (aged 82) Manhattan, New York, New York, U.S. Alma mater Columbia University Occupation Jurist Spouse Virginia Crocheron (m. 1868) Children 5 including Virginia Gildersleeve Henry Alger Gildersleeve (1 August 1840 – 27 February 1923) was an American jurist and sports shooter who served on the New York Supreme Court. Following a military career in the union army during the American Civil War, Henry A. Gildersleeve became a competitive marksman and early leader of the National Rifle Association of America. Gildersleeve was a prominent New York jurist, serving as judge on the New York General sessions bench from 1875 to 1889, and later as Supreme Court justice from 1891 to 1910. Early life Henry A. Gildersleeve was born in Clinton, Dutchess County, New York, on August 1, 1840, to Smith James Gildersleeve and Rachel Alger Gildersleeve. After attending school in Poughkeepsie, he briefly worked as a school teacher.[1] Military and Shooting Career When the American Civil war broke out, he recruited an infantry company from his hometown to form the 150th New York Infantry.[1] Commissioned a Captain in 1862, his regiment fought in the Battle of Gettysburg in 1863, campaigns in Maryland and Virginia before participating in Sherman’s March to the Sea in 1864.[2] His military accomplishments earned him praise from Abraham Lincoln, who brevetted Gildersleeve as Lieutenant Colonel near the end of the war.[2] In 1870, five years after the close of the civil war, he joined the National Guard as lieutenant colonel of the 12th Regiment of the State of New York.[3] During the Orange Riots of 1871, Gildersleeve and his regiment defended the New York Arsenal.[3] Gildersleeve co-founded the National Rifle Association of America (NRA) whose mission was to “encourage the rifle practice and to promote a system of aiming drill and target firing among the National Guard”.[3] He later went on to become secretary and later president of the National Rifle Association for a single term in 1880-1881.[1] Gildersleeve was a member of the United States Rifle Team who won the 1874 International Rifle Contest at Creedmoor in a close match against the Irish team.[4][5] The following year, Gildersleeve led the American team on a European tour, including a return match against Ireland in Dublin, which they won decisively.[3] In 1878, Gildersleeve authored a book titled Rifles and Marksmanship.[2] On September 17, 1889, 25 years after the Battle of Gettysburg, Gildersleeve gave an oration at the battlefield and dedicated a monument to the 150th New York Regiment from Dutchess County.[6] Legal career After returning from the Civil war, Gildersleeve studied law at Columbia University under Theodore Willam Dwight.[1] In 1866, he was admitted to the bar and began practicing law.[2] Henry A. Gildersleeve was elected to the New York General Sessions Bench in 1875, supported by both the Democratic Tammany establishment and the Republican party.[1][7] His tenure as judge was characterized by harsh sentences, in particular for crimes against property.[8] A 1888 New York Times article accused him of discrimination, giving vastly different sentences in two apparently similar cases.[9] In 1889, Gildersleeve failed to be re-elected as General Sessions Judge, losing to his opponent, James Fitzgerald.[10] In 1891, Gildersleeve was appointed to the state Superior Court, which in 1895 became the Supreme Court of New York.[1] He was re-elected in 1905 for another fourteen year term as Supreme Court justice, but resigned from the court in 1909 at the age of 69.[1] Following his resignation from the supreme court, Gildersleeve continued to practice law and served in 1912 as councel to Madeleine Force Astor, helping to settle the will of her deceased husband, John Jacob Astor IV who died in the sinking of the RMS Titanic.[11] Death Henry Alger Gildersleeve died at his Manhattan home on 27 February 1923 at the age of 82. His funeral was held at Columbia University Chapel.[2] Marriage and Family In 1868, Gildersleeve married Virginia Crocheron (1843-1923). They had five children, although two died in infancy.[1] Their other children were: Alger Crocheron Gildersleeve (1869-1952), an engineer who served in WWI.[12] Henry ‘Harry’ Alger Gildersleeve Jr. (1871-1891), who earned a master’s degree at Columbia University but died of complications of typhoid fever in 1891.[1] Virginia Crocheron Gildersleeve (1877-1965), an academic and long-time dean of Barnard College, notable for being the only woman from the U.S delegation who wrote the United Nations Charter in 1945.[1] Sighted for 1, 2 and 300 yards Weight - 6lbs 5oz LOP - 14 ?/? Mortimer & Son Double Rifle from Scotland ~ A bit of a project but well worth the effort and priced right! Hammerguns Caliber |

|
This is a classic BPE double rifle from Scotland. The rifling is quite strong but near the chambers there is pitting but cleans up to very nice toward the muzzle. I believe this rifle will shoot extremely well. The forend is missing its horn and the sights are missing the two folding behind the main sight. The gun is slighty off face so does need a rejoin soon. |

A classic Holland Royal with excellent walls, great stock dimensions, and is perfectly balanced at 6 lbs. 9 oz.. I appreciate the 30" barrels and if we opened up the right barrel to IC this would make an ideal upland gun. This gun was built between 1898 and 1900. We will have the exact date soon from the Holland records. If it dates to before 1899 it could be shipped direct without the need of an FFL.

This fine Boss still retains at least 30% original case color. It was built in 1923, a period in which the British consider their very best guns were built. The 29" barrels were sleeved in England and Re-proofed for 2.5". *For what my oppinion is worth, I consider Boss to be the very best of the London gun makers (with the exception of James Woodward!) |

Holland & Holland which will make an excellent quail or grouse gun! 2 3/4" Nitro proofed Hammerless Sidelocks 12 gauge |
5405 16002 |

This beautiful Royal grade the company records show having 30" barrels and as the barrels appear original it must be deduced that the barrels were cut down to 27" in its lifetime. They have no choke measuring Cyl in both barrels furthers this point. The barrels were reproofed at 2 3/4"at a later date in London, probably when the barrels were shortened. Having open chokes, this would make an outstanding close in bird gun for shooting over point. With modern wads Cylinder bore is capable of perfect patterns out to 25 yards and more. This is a very nice English between the wars (~1927) sidelock for a super price. Don't be put off the by the extension or the long length of pull as we can remove the extension and have a checkered butt done or a pad added instead of the extension for a very nominal charge to achieve a LOP that will work for you. This gun being near 100 years old and still retain over 50% original case color is remarkable. It handles well and is tight on face with excellent bores. *Note the excellent choking for upland birds which I will guarantee will put more birds in your bag! |

Made in 1912 this is a great little English sidelock at a great price. Tight on face and field ready. The 2 3/4" nitro proofs are very nice to have as the 2 1/2" shells are, while getting better to find, still pretty hard to come by.

Wm. Atkinson & Sons~ Lancaster, Kendel, and Morecambe ~ A lovely 30" barreled English sidelock for a great price Hammerless Sidelocks 12 gauge |
3465 3155 |
|
This gun features nitro proofed 30" barrels with mirror bores. Other features include auto ejectors, tight on face barrels to action, and excellent modern stock dimensions cut from a very nice piece of English walnut. The left choke is tighter than many (like me) might want it but remember we can have chokes opened very reasonably. Also, if you need a longer LOP we can provide excellent English style leather covered pads up to 1". This is a very nice example of an English sidelock. It is well balanced and feels great between the hands as any well made gun should. I did not know much of this maker so I did some sleuthing on internet and actually found quite a lot: Built between 1901 and 1905 by address's on rib William Atkinson was the son of Joseph Atkinson of Lancaster. He was born in 1851. By 1871 William had joined his father in the business in Lancaster, but in about 1874 he opened his own business at 52 Stricklandgate, Kendal, Westmoreland; in about 1878 this moved to 8 All Hallows Lane. There may have been a branch of the firm in Preston. In 1874 William and his wife (Eleanor b. 1850) had a son, Joseph Harvey Atkinson, and in 1876 another, Arthur Falder Atkinson (both born in Kendal), they both worked in the business as gunmaker's assistants, there were also had two daughters born in Kendal, Edith (b.1873) and Maud (b.1878) who appear to have worked in the business. In 1881 Joseph Atkinson retired and William took over the business in Lancaster re-naming it William Atkinson. In about 1885 the firm moved to 20 Market Street, between 1890 and 1901 they took over the adjoining premises at 18 Market Street. Between 1890 and 1894 the business in Kendal moved to 58 Highgate. Joseph Atkinson died in the late 1890s, and in 1900 the firm Lancaster business was re-named William Atkinson & Sons. By this time the firm had a substantial trade in bicycles. In about 1901 a branch was opened at 11 Skipton Street, Morecambe, Lancashire. This was probably run by one of the sons, it appears to have closed in about 1905. Between 1901 and 1905 the Kendal business became known as Atkinson & Griffin, it appears to have ceased trading in 1925. Between about 1905 and 1909 the firm in Lancaster occupied premises in North Road. In about 1935 the firm moved to 26 Market Street, Lancaster, but the Lancaster business appears to have closed in 1940. In 1955 Thomas Atkinson & Sons was recorded at 19a Stricklandgate, Kendal. Thomas Atkinson was certainly related, perhaps only distantly. The firm appears to have closed in about 1985. |

Army & Navy Sidelock built by W.C. Scott ~ a well-made gun at a great price Hammerless Sidelocks 12 gauge |
3959 49538 |
|
Existing Army & Navy records show this sidelock was built in 1908 by W.C. Scott. Great dimensions and I really like how this gun opens and closes. It feels like a gun that would be appreciated in the field.
*You know this old girl has seen plenty of service and she does show some scars in handling marks in the wood and blue thinning in places. She would be a great candidate for a light restoration or used and appreciated as is. This gun I noted when first operated did not have auto ejectors. I really like this as having auto ejectors is really one more thing to go wrong and truly in the upland field unnecessary. I will get some flack over this, I am sure! I will agree to disagree. |

A very nice sidelock for the price of a boxlock due to the less known name. Carr Brothers started in 1878 on Cloth Hall St., Huddersfield, Yorks. 4264 43881 |

From 1888 this classic Scott features the wonderful "Crystal Window Indicators", a flag ship at the time for W. C. Scott. They actually gold plated the side of the internal hammer so it would show up better through the window. When the hammer is fired the window is dark. So ever so clever and cool today as I am sure it was then. Only cast on ever so slight so very shootable by a right handed shot also. It could also be bent either way I suspect with ease. *You may note the minimum wall thickness is on the thin side but this is found where there is little pressure near the muzzle as demonstrated by its fairly recent reproof in London in 2005. The bores have not been modified since that reproof. |

Cogswell & Harrison Sidelock from the back of vault early spring cleaning sale. Hammerless Sidelocks 12 gauge |

Nice barrels on this Coggy sidelock. A high stocked gun for rising birds with a lot of cast off for a beard or broader face. Way too high for me but if it works for you this gun is a bargain. The gun appears to be on face, but I do feel an ever so slight movement. It is so slight I cannot tell where it is coming from so very minor. *Early Spring Sale guns have a no return policy unless we fail to mention a defect or serious problem |

Holland & Holland Dominion 16g. ~ These are rare Hammerless Sidelocks 16 gauge |
5158 30191 |
|
I have always appreciated the Holland Dominion guns as they are true sidelocks with a very rounded or radiused action. As a known 16g. "a-holic" this example does push all the right buttons for me. I have never seen another 16g Dominion and I have had over 100 Holland Dominions in the shop over the years. *This gun dates between the wars to 1921 and comes in a proper vintage case. *There is a cosmetic stock repair, barely visible about in the center of the stocks comb. It must have had a deep ding in the stock, so they removed a piece of wood and replaced it with new. it is very well done and hard to see. If you look carefully, you can see it in the photos. |

Charles Daly Prussian 10g. ( G. Lindner gun) What a great classic double for a bargain price ~ All 10 pounds! Boxlocks 10 gauge |
4518 2658 |
|
This gun built around 1890 actually has quite nice bores with only a thin frost of pitting in places. I believe it was built for Charles Daly of New York by George Lindner in Germany. The proof marks under the barrels have the crossed dueling pistol marks which was his mark. There is quite a lot of case color left on the action with some browning in places. The stock has a reinforced pin in the head which you can see in the photographs. There is some shadow of lines in the wrist that could be a repair but it, even is sunlight, is hard to see so I am not sure about this. We found this gun in the back room making space and it needs a new home |

British over and unders have always been rare and very expensive. This Charles Lancaster dates from 1907 and is of very high quality as one would expect from a London gun from this period. The large amount of drop comes up better than one would think as I believe it is countered by the 1/2" cast off. |

EJ Churchill in high condition and in its makers case ~ This is the "Easy Opener" model ~ left hander Boxlocks 12 gauge |
5298 6156 |

This little Churchill is in wonderful original condition and is very light and lithe. Well balanced it actually, when swung, feels like a much longer barreled gun. The original makers case is in very nice condition. The 3" of drop at heel is for the long necked and tall lanky build but could be, as the stock is very straight grained, be bent up. |

This would make a great sporting clays gun. There is 90% case color remaining but the blue on the barrels near the breech is almost worn silver around where it was obviously carried many a mile. The wood is a stunning piece of quarter sawn black walnut, loaded with fiddle and flash on both sides. |

No cast on this fine shotgun so could be shot by a left- or right-handed person. The long 30" tubes are impressive with excellent min. wall thickness. Great stock dimensions for most. Excellent engraving and has bushed firing pins. The large pad/extension could be removed and replaced with a standard 1" pad and have LOP of 14 1/2". *Note that this gun comes with a very nice canvas covered hard case with accoutrement's ( cleaning rod, ends, William Evans chamber brush, snap caps, and oil bottle). |

James MacNaughton 12g ~ A boxlock from the renowned Edinburgh Scotland gun maker built in 1896 Boxlocks 12 gauge |

Very American dimensions on this Scottish boxlock. With zero cast it could be shot by a right handed or left handed person. It is tight on face and field ready. Shooting Sportsman (January-February) has a great article about these Scottish boxlocks by Douglas Tate. See page 54. To sum the article up the Scottish makers spent extra time and effort to make their boxlocks superior and unique from the average Birmingham gun. Built in 1896 so this gun can be shipped direct. |

Tight and field ready. *Note this gun has what we call a "swept" comb. This allows better gun fit for a shooter with a wider face/cheek area or perhaps a full beard. Nitro proofed Damascus with good walls and choking that will put more game birds in your game bag. The dimensions are high like our more modern guns so many of you will like them. The wood is actually quite beautiful but would if one wanted to make it show be ready for a new oil finish and have the checkering picked up. This is not expensive, and we are pricing the gun right so one could afford to do this. Of course, one would not need to do anything with it at all as it is tight and ready to share lead with your favorite bird! *No FFL needed as is antique. |

Webley made a very large number of these because they became very well known for being well made for an affordable price. This example obviously has seen good use but despite its handling marks and fading blueing is still as tight as the day it was built and has very good trigger pulls. A great backup gun or introduction to vintage boxlocks. I particularly like the ergonomic feel of the Prince of Wales grip on this gun. |

Beesley & Son, London and inscribed on rib "Made for J.P. Graham, Cockermouth" Boxlocks 12 gauge |
4592 62845 |
|
Beesley and Son, London. I assumed when I purchased this gun that it was a Frederick Beesley gun. The man that invented the Purdey self-opener action still in use today by Purdey. Now I am not so sure. I have spent the last half an hour researching but not finding anything specific about Beesley & Son. There is much about Frederick but not about his later years and when his son may have joined the firm. Anyone want to educate the me on this maker? This certainly is a quality shotgun with some nice features such as the higher-grade Anson and Deeley double seared action and with bushed firing pins. The barrels were proofed in London and remain in proof. The gun is tight and well balanced. The name on the rib also had me a bit intrigued so I had to do an internet search. I did not really expect to find much but as it turns out, J.P. Graham was not only an individual but the name of a well-established Gun and fishing tackle supply store. I found a picture of an invoice from this interesting little business online and have attached it here. The town name also was a place I had never heard of so I had to look that up. I have to say I don't think I would want to tell people I was from "Cockermouth." What a name. Sounds like something my mother might call me after I said something naughty and would result in a mouth full of soap. The name does have much logic to it as the town is located at the mouth of the Cocker river where it empties into the river Derwent in Cumbria. |

We date this Agnew to 1909. Some very light haze pitting in both bores but basically really nice barrels, bright and shiny and well in their nitro proof. Note the modern dimensions and there are still remaining original case colors on the action. A very nice boxlock for the price.

Bushed firing pins and high-grade wood are both top notch features on this shotgun by this famous maker. Pay attention to the 5/8" cast off for a right-handed shooter. It seems a bit extreme, but the gun comes up pretty nice as is although it could be easily bent over a 1/4" if wanted.

"The Transvaal Gun" Interesting English double that will be very affective in the field ~ Solid gun with interesting history on Sale! Boxlocks 12 gauge |
5117 124905 |
|
On the rib on this English boxlock it says, "The Transvaal Gun" and also on the rib "Specially made for C. Lefever, Bloemhof. Transvaal being a former province in South Africa. It would be interesting to research further to learn more about Mr. Lefever. With 30" nitro steel barrels and modern rising bird stock dimensions I believe many will find this vintage shotgun very effective in the field. Interesting that Bloemhof is a diamond mining area in South Africa. Wikipedia records: "It was founded in August 1864 when diamonds were discovered in the area.[4] The town was established on the farm owned by John Barclay, who survived the HMS Birkenhead shipwreck in 1852. The place became known as Bloemhof (flower court) because of the lovely gardens that were planted by Barclay's daughter. In June 1869, the South African Republic's Volksraad created a new district called Bloemhof named after the town itself.[" |

C.G. Bonehill ~ The Belmont "Interchangeable" ~ No cast so good for left or right handed Boxlocks 12 gauge |
4334 2494 |
|
A very nice English boxlock at a super price. There is a chip in the toe of the butt plate that is easily repairable. It has a lovely horn pistol grip cap and horn forend escutcheon. This gun has tight bores, is in proof, and locks up tight. Interesting history of C.G. Bonehill: C. G. Bonehill was an English gunmaker from Birmingham, England who lived from 1831 to 1900 1. He established his own firm in 1851 and was recorded at 33 Charlotte Street with a factory in Morville Street in 1872 1. In 1873, he moved the whole business to the Belmont Firearms Works, Belmont Row 1. C. G. Bonehill was a Guardian of The Birmingham Proof House 1. He was related to and may have been associated with O. G. Bonehill of Belmont Firearms Works also of Birmingham 2. He held 4 US patents issued in the 1880s 2. From about 1900 to 1965, the company produced ball & shot guns and combination guns, and they made the Britannia air rifle 1. They were pioneers in the mechanization of gun manufacture, making the “Belmont Interchangeable” shotguns 1. From about 1900, C G Bonehill were the main suppliers of rifles to the “Society of Miniature Rifle Clubs” 1. The Society was founded to encourage rifle shooting amongst working class men, and it was largely responsible for establishing smallbore rifle shooting as a sport in England 1. For this purpose, old .303 Martini-Enfield rifles were re-barrelled to .22 rimfire and sold at very reasonable prices 1 |

Serial number records show us this shotgun was built in 1902. As you can see in the pictures the bluing on the barrels have multiple light scratches but the barrels are tight on face with nice bores. We have priced the gun to leave some room for a barrel blacking. This shotgun features a longer than normal forend which I really like as it would be excellent for clay shooting! |

Manufrance Ideal Grade 2R ~ This is the Classic French Round Action Boxlocks 16 gauge |
3557 18276 |
|
Built on a unique but 100% trigger plate action this is a gun that I have always been intrigued with. I like everything about them except for the safe which is located to the right and left of the trigger guard. It functions fine but I don't find them as ergonomic as the top safe. So, despite the safety, I still shoot, promote and get excited about these guns as they are worth having, shooting and appreciating due to their great balanced round action and features. This grade and higher feature a rising bite third fastener similar to the coveted Rigby rising third bite. The pull back lever behind the trigger guard opens the gun and is extremely ergonomic. It is out of the way and very easy to operate. |

Gustav Kerstan 16 ga. with unique lock up ~ For the shotgunner that likes to show up with something completely different! (But effective!) Boxlocks 16 gauge |

This is one of the most unique side by side shotguns we have ever had in the shop. Many have heard of the "Kerstan" rib extension extra bite. This patent is still in use today by Merkel on their best over and unders. This Kerstan marked example is a double Kerstan bite on a horizontal profile. An extremely strong and unusual prewar 16g. side by side that weighs under 6 lbs. but carries 29" Krupp barrels. The condition is quite good although there is some light pitting in each bore. I have shot this gun and I have to say it handles extremely well. This is from my personal collection, and I often referred to this gun as my "Hammer head shark" gun! |

At just over 5 pounds this would make a great 28g to carry all day in the field. This gun is tight and ready to shoot. There are some handling marks in the stock but nothing bad and it still retains over 80% case color. Look out Chukars! * One could have a pad added to have a LOP of 14 1/4" and the chokes can be opened for around $75.00 per barrel.. |

What a great little double gun. C.S. Rosson was a great maker in Norwich England on Rampant Horse street. Wonder how that street got its name? This gun was built between the great wars in 1933. The LOP could be lengthened with a recoil pad to make the LOP almost 14 5/8". The right side of the action the wood has been properly reinforced with dowels to strengthen the stock. |

The shotgun barrel appears mirror when examined from the breech but when inspected from the muzzle I can see some light pitting in places. Only cosmetic but I want you all to know it is there. This is a wonderful double rifle with excellent bores. It appears so much to be a sidelock I had to remove the sideplates to be sure it was a side plated gun. Featuring near 90% original case color and near perfect bores this is a stunning little hammer double rifle. No markings on the gun indicating caliber but the measurement's of a the chamber cast show it remarkably close to our 38-55 Winchester so there is very good chance this brass could be used. See scan of chamber cast and measurements. Keep in mind that chambers are usually slightly over size to actual brass dimensions to prevent sticking.

This is a classic BPE double rifle from Scotland. The rifling is quite strong but near the chambers there is pitting but cleans up to very nice toward the muzzle. What a joy this would be to carry and hunt with in the field at well under 6 lbs. I have hunted with this cartridge for years and found it totally effective on everything from Moose on down. It is very similar to our 30'06 and in fact that cartridge was much copied from the 8x57. The bore on this rifle is excellent The claw mounted scope is a crystal clear Leupold scope 1x4 VARI-X IIc. *I, having had the rifle several months just detected a professionally repaired crack in the wrist. It is so well done it even fooled me even though my training and expertise is in invisible crack repair. It is extremely well done and obviously super strong, but I am lowering the price to account for this. An excellent rifle in a super easy to get caliber. I will even throw in a box of 20 new ammunition to go with it. |

The forend screw is brass which is not original but all else is very stock which I love. The rifling is strong showing little wear but there is frost between. Hosford and Co. Wall thickness gauge Men's Collectibles 10 gauge |
1158 |
|
This wall thickness gauge, complete with table clamping barrel vise, is the most accurate wall thickness gauge that we are aware of for the money (the next more accurate gauge is digital and costs over 2K). This gauge will measure 4 gauge through .410. It may look intimidating to use but let me assure you it is not. The secret and success of this gauge is in that the barrels are easily held suspended by the table clamped barrel vise. The gauge, once zeroed is slid over the barrel and quite easily moved back and forth while one just watches the gauge to read the actual barrel wall thickness. There is no math to do. The ingenious barrel holder allows you to easily rotate the barrels allowing you access to areas of the barrel near the ribs. On the vertical gauge this is quite difficult but on this gauge very easy. This gauge also has the feature of a finer pointed tip on the gauge allowing you to measure inside many pits. I cannot stress the value of having a quality wall thickness gauge if one is a serious collector and purchaser of high end double guns. THE FIRST GUN YOU REFUSE AS A RESULT OF USING THIS GAUGE PAYS FOR THE GAUGE MANY TIMES OVER. If you do not understand the significance of the last sentence, please reread it. We will not make any significant money selling these gauges. It is our intent to have educated buyers. It is our belief that our client’s best interests are also ours. Most all of our best clients already have this gauge but I would like to see all of our clients with one. These gauges were designed and hand built by Jon Hosford, a natural engineer, double gun lover, collector, and wing shooter (not to mention his appetite for fine red wine, scotch, and good food!)
See Jon's gauge in use and learn how to use it on youtube by typing in a search on youtube: “Hosford & Co., Shotgun barrel gauge, Part 1” or clicking this url: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1jQZn4kohH4 Please contact Jon to buy: https://www.hosfordco.com/tools-measuring-1/wall-thickness-guage info@hosfordco.com 734-769-5660 |

EJ Churchill in high condition and in its makers case ~ This is the "Easy Opener" model ~ left hander Left-handed Guns 12 gauge |

W. C. Scott & Son 1888 hammerless sidelock ~ Nitro proofed and we can ship direct, no ffl needed Left-handed Guns 12 gauge |
|

C.G. Bonehill ~ The Belmont "Interchangeable" ~ No cast so good for left or right handed Left-handed Guns 12 gauge |
|
